Am I the only person who think it’s completely normal to go to a restaurant (or a movie theatre, or anywhere really) alone? I do it all the time.I do this on a weekly basis, at least. And sometimes more. Alone time is required.
Yeah, this is an integral part of my city hermit lifestyle.
This seems totally normal to me. Why wouldn’t I eat out alone/go to a movie alone?
Though I noticed that when I did this in Florida, I got hit on all the time. I was horribly confused… I’d never been hit on before, and suddenly it was constant. It was wonderful to return home to Minnesota, where I didn’t have to worry about that.
And dear author, one experiences a rite of passage, not a right.
I’ve learn to do this lately. Doesn’t bother me anymore. Gal’s gotta eat. and movie? heck yeah. no one to bother me while I am watching!
I’ve eaten alone when traveling and seen a heap of movies alone (movies are the best when you are on your own - love it!!).
